The 74th Northern Ireland International Ploughing Championships takes place on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September 2017 in Donaghcloney, Co Down.
In association with Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Council, the championships will return to the 2005 site at a very central location, not far from A1 and M1.
As well as the usual ploughing classes, the Young Farmers Clubs of Ulster will take part in competitions and there will be a large display of trade stands, other great attractions for all the family plus a special appearance being made by the fantastic Grasslads.

The championships will showcase over 50 qualified competitors from NI and ROI competing in seven different classes: World Style Conventional, World Style Reversible, Vintage Class, Horse Class, Horse Style & Appearance Class, Young Farmers Class & Ladies Class.
The event is an ideal meeting place for anyone involved in the agricultural industry and their families to see top ploughmen show off their skills for the honour of being crowned a Northern Ireland Champion and representing their country on European and World stages

Our 2017 programme will be distributed across the 2 days of the championships. Whilst we’re printing and circulating 2,500 the estimated readership of the programme is approximately 10,000 people. We are also creating an online campaign which will allow both attendees and non-attendees to download the programme.
Following the competition we will be producing a FREE downloadable eBook in PDF format with details of all the winners from the weekend. This will be made freely available to thousands of people across Northern Ireland and beyond via mailing list emails and a social media campaign.
